This course focuses on technical, business and regulatory aspects of Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). It covers Internet technologies for IoT, then IoT standards, architectures and interoperability, as well as IoT policies and regulations, including IoT security and privacy issues. The course includes IoT services in 4G and 5G mobile systems, including massive IoT and critical IoT use cases. The IoT generates large amounts of data that cannot be processed by traditional techniques, and such data is referred to as Big Data.

National cyber crisis management course is the introductory two-day, scenario-based, purpose-built training designed to take attendees to the intermediate level. The course will include both theoretical and practical components that cover a wide range of topics related to national cyber crisis management. Students will explore the main concepts of cyber crisis management, understand the key roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders involved in national cybersecurity crisis management, including the role CSIRTs.

It covers 5G network architecture, which is based on network slicing approach, 5G New Radio (NR) and 5G Next Generation core with network functions and software based architecture.

The course on the Orbit-Spectrum International Regulatory Framework, with a specific focus on ITU's regulatory procedures, is designed to provide an introduction to the key principles of the regulations governing satellite projects. Participants will learn about the international legal and regulatory framework that governs the use and management of radio frequency spectrum and associated orbits. The course will also delve into ITU's specific regulatory processes, clarifying when and how to engage with this entity for requesting or registering radio frequencies for satellite projects.

The ICT infrastructure business planning training course offers regulators, policymakers, and stakeholders a practical approach for the accurate economic evaluation of broadband infrastructure installation and deployment plans. The expert guidance offered in this course is based on the ITU ICT infrastructure business planning toolkit - 5G networks, 2023 and aims at facilitating the development of credible and coherent business plans adaptable to a wide range of broadband infrastructure deployment projects.
